Little Lizard King has my heart with this pattern! Charleston (releasing April 19th) is the sweetest little set that I know Miss Emma will be wearing all summer. Check it out for yourself and tell me that you don’t just want to eat her?!The bodice is lined and topped off with adorable ruffles. The shoulder straps cross in the back and attach to the bodice with buttons. I love this detail because additional buttonholes can be added for extended wear. The bow closure is so cute too!
The outfit is made complete by the sweetest little bloomers! I LOVE Emma in bloomers right now. And the open back is scrumptious! (I promise, I’m not going to eat her…but I want to)
This bodice is also perfect for adding your own personal touch! I’m not one for monogramming initials, but if that is your thing then this boasts the perfect canvas to do so. I opted for an anchor! When I heard the name of this was Charleston, I immediately thought of coastal southern and an anchor seemed fitting!
I used my silhouette machine to cut out the anchor. I then pressed it onto the bodice using an adhesive hem tape to hold it in place while I pressed on the vinyl outline, that I also cut out with my silhouette. I really love how it came out!
This is a must have pattern for summer in my opinion!!
